via Instagram: Mussels and clams in red wine and tomato reduction sauce. Chopped onions, ginger, garlic... Sautéed in olive oil over medium heat. Crushed canned tomatoes were put after the onions "sweat", then red wine was poured, about a cup. A pinch of salt to taste. Simmered to reduce with occasional stirring. The sauce mixture is then passed through a metal sieve and put back into the pot at low heat. The mussels and clams were then put in. When the mussels and clams are all open, serve hot. #weekendmenu #seafood #redwine #brunch
