Steamed salmon with greens


via Instagram: Steamed Salmon and stir-fried greens. The salmon was steamed with water infused with tarragon and basil. The fish was steamed as is, no salt, no pepper, no anything but itself. I then prepared an oil infused with garlic and ginger. At very low heat, finely chopped garlic and grated ginger was put until soft and cooked but not burned. A little salt was added at the end. Afterwards, the oil was strained to take out the garlic and ginger, leaving the oil at its clean state. The beans and broccoli were stir-fried in the pan used during the oil infusion process. Infused oil was drizzled needed. Teaspoonfuls of herbed infused water used in steaming the salmon was also put to make little steam for the vegetables to cook evenly and faster. During serving, a little dash of salt and freshly milled peppercorns were added on the salmon, and the infused oil was poured on top of the fish and vegetables.
